Fall 2006 Dupont State Park, NC
The leaves this year have been spectacular. On an October afternoon in Dupont State Park I took this picture. The seasons and changes associated with them make living in the mountains worthwhile. While I miss Southern Miss Football on Fall afternoons, living in such a beautiful area and observing God's wonderful works in nature rate right up there with touchdowns and extra points.

You're right, your N.C. views are pretty spectacular, especially since you can see Southern Miss on ESPN just about every weekend! :-)
